There are so many matches and France and the Ukraine have countries like the Faroe Islands in their midst. (is that really a country?) So why work hard and give everything if you still have 300 something days before the fiinals.

Sure, he likes the play a bit rough, doesn't whistle all the time, lets the players sort it out. In the second half, though, every now and then you could see him yelling at players, great referees don't need to yell. And he showed a yellow card (the first, in the 77th minute) to Gallan for jumping in front of the ball during a free kick for the Ukraine. Sure, it's in the rules, but great referees can have their own rules too. A bit childish this way, at the end of a match without any bookings so far..
