Easily, because all players seemed to agree with his four important (ah well...) decisions: no penalty,no goal, penalty and no penalty. Asumaa was always right, but there wasn't much to be right about. He even sent off a San Marinese (San Marine?) who left the field rather happy he didn't have to endure it any longer.
Easily, German Jens Lehmann had nothing to do and the one time he walked all the way to the corner flag to join the match he lost the ball and San Marino almost scored.
Easily, most people don't even know there is such a country. Any eleven guys found outside the stadium would do to make it hard for a team like Germany. For half a match. San Marino managed (thanks to its goalie) to stop the Germans for about 42 minutes.
Poor Klose, he probably spent weeks practicing his trick standing-off-side-and-than-quickly-stepping-back-just-before-the-pass. He is really good at it, but the nano-second he needs to do it, is too fast for an assistent referee from Finland, for most assistant referees probably, rendering Klose's trick useless.
