Boca, in trouble

Comfortable 1st half

Undoubtedly, for referee Carlos Amarilla, it was a very calm 1st half. No violent actions, and players more occupied playing than protesting or tricking.

Amarilla didn´t surprise me

When the game got complicated, Amarilla showed again that he´s not a very reliable referee. He made mistakes, the biggest one: he should have sent off Boca´s Pablo Ledesma. Just 2 minutes after being booked, Ledesma committed a big foul but Amarilla didn´t book him again. I don´t understand why it is that some referees need to wait more minutes for booking a player after the first yellow card... This wasn´t all... Assistants failed like the referee, whose calls were getting more an more confusing.

Cucuta, much better than Boca

The game was enjoyable, except for the first 20 minutes in the 2nd half. Bustos scored an amazing goal: 3-1. Cucuta is 2 goals ahead, but Boca scored once so with a 2-0 difference in the Bombonera, they will be in the Final.

Nothing ended

This won´t be easy for the Argentinians, but not impossible either. The return match will be played next week in Buenos Aires.
