The red card for violent conduct for the player from Turkmenistan was quite obvious but the referee had to get some help from his assistant because he was keeping an eye on something else. Either way, it was a great decision. No complaints from anyone even the home team players and bench.
Unfortunately someone had told worldreferee that Mohsen Torky had handed out 8 yellow cards but when you look at the match report on the fifa website it says ONLY 4.
I am a big fan of football in Asia and I hope it grows even bigger and hope to see more teams from Asia be successful in the World Cup but my question is how was this stadium FIFA Approved? Horrible grass (if you can call it that) and everything else looked from 50 years ago too.
Thanks for your report, however, the original info was correct. 8 yellows and one red: http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/asia/matches/round=257787/match=300159196/index.html Consequently, I am slightly wondering whether you have seen the match (?).
I added the game, with information on the site of FIFA, if you saw the game, you should know how he had shown yellow.
