Ready for Champions League match

Match

The match was imporrtant for the teams involved in the group. Lazio had to win, Vaslui could have been satisfied even with a draw. In first half, cards were immediatly needed: all given ones were correct. Anyway, match was intensive, and enjoyable to watch, players were absolutely fair, accepting Mazic decisions and cards.

Assistants

In second half, Vaslui scored, it was a clear offside, the first assistant correctly disallowed it. In first half, the second assistant maybe did a mistake, but it was a borderline offfside.

Overall

I was impressed by his really good control. When a match passes without problems, it is often said that it's easy for the referee. Ok, but I think that some referees are able to make it easy and we have to recognize their skill. Maybe Mazic is one of them. Match was important for both teams.

Champions has to wait

Today UEFA has published the last appointments for Champions League Matchday 6: no Mazic. Milorad has to wait until September 2012. Meanwhile, he will be surely appointed at least for a Europa League round of 32 match. Good luck!
