I assume that this red card is the earliest in Gold Cup's history. After a brutal foul with both legs he sent a Guadeloupian player off. Some tumults followed but along with his countryman Adrian Goddard and Gerson Lopez Castellanos from Guatemala, he managed to keep the guys under control, although he missed a yellow against CAN. That was really good, you may watch this incident here (0:32): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCVoBDA_-hA&feature=related
This call decided the match if you want so. After a long ball a Canadian player fell after a small contact. I am not quite sure whether it was a) a foul and b) inside the box. It was on the line which counts to the box, perhaps the action started just a few centimetres in front of the line. But who should evaluate that? You can say that Lopez Castellanos must see both correctly, but even after having seen the replays I am not 100 percent sure. I would argue the case for nothing. No foul, no free-kick, no penalty and no dive as well. here: (0:43) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3vbNGix2WU&feature=related
The rest was just good, of course, he made some mistakes but overall, most of the decisions were correct including another big call when Canada scored in the first half and Taylor disallowed the goal due to a close offside position. Well seen by Goddard. Nonetheless, I think that the competition is over for Taylor. There are other ones who may have better chances. My predictions for the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals: 1/4: Rodriguez, Quaesada, Lopez Castellanos, Moreno 1/2 Campbell, Aguilar FIN: Moreno
