Some calls were not even doubtful, they were rather unbelievable. Clear and obvious calls were given to the wrong team or overseen by all officials. Both sides were affected: NED and GER.

Penalty situation and alleged dive-in

In minute 43, all the players and the audience recognized that it has to be a clear penalty for Germany. The Dutch player Rekik knocked down a German player who was on the way to be free in front of the goalkeeper. It is a clear penalty, assistant referee Tóth (HUN) and Dias must see that. One can even discuss, if he would have whistled, whether it is a red card. Perhaps, but at least a penalty. It is a match-decisive-mistake. The other one: an alleged dive-in, the call was adventurous and ridiculous.

Please do not blame me for not being neutral. I thought some time about the 1 I gave him and decided to give him now a 4. Nonetheless, I want to still to emphasize that it was the easiest match you can handle. If you make so many obvious mistakes in thus clear situations, how could you give a 7 or higher in calls? It was not just the penalty, my mark concerned midfield duels as well. And apart from that...Stark was excellent in the last match. How can you explain me that you give Dias a 7 in an easy match in which he made mistakes and give Stark a worse mark in calls in el clásico? Where is the relation?? I agree, good fitness!
