El clásico III or Mourinho's lesson how to destroy a match

Heavy work for the Germans

Wolfgang Stark and his team had the honour (is it really an honour?) to lead this match. Fights from minute 30 until the end, the highlights were the two red cards after the half-time-whistle when Barca's reserve goalie Pinto was dismissed (correct decision!) and when Pepe was dismissed after a brutal conduct. Overall a stellar performance by Stark, whose great advantage is that he always stays calm and cool.

Difficult decisions

Every single decision was hard for him because of the audience, the atmosphere on and off the pitch and the players themselves. If UEFA followed it's advice, Sergio Ramos would never take part again in a UEFA match.
1st: Penalty? - No, absolutely correctly seen. Marcelo played the ball.
2nd: Adebayor. Yellow or red? He gave yellow, I think this was the only mistake by the German team, it was a slip into the opponent's face, he must be off.
3rd: the cards went all right including the dismissal of Mourinho.

Mourinho or the potency of arrogance

This man is unbelievable, he has to be praised for his titles and victories with every team he coached but his personality is beneath contempt. Arrogant, no respect for the referees and thank goodness, Stark banished him. BTW: Heavy work for Thorsten Kinhofer, the 4th Official, but he was good as well.
Mourinho and Sergio Ramos should keep in mind that they should fulfill their duty of being paragons for small boys.... @padre: pls look again on Pepe's foul, I do now want to know which injury could have the possible consequence. In Germany it is red, I hope in England as well, but if I remember the foul on Michael Ballack last year, I stop hoping...this is a match in which it would be good to have a parameter that describes the match difficulty. Did you want to see another referee yesterday? Perhaps Webb????
