Al Shabab`s goal

The goal scored by the away side looked offside but replay proved many -including myself- wrong and showed that the assistants were just as good as the referee.

Red Cards

Two red cards for different reasons: Al Shabab`s player got two yellows in two minutes and the second was for studs on the goalkeeper which angered the Emirates player. But Al Shabab`s player also spat on a Emirates player who reacted by hitting him in the face. Both players were sent off and the Al Shabab player should wait for a very harsh suspension from AFC.

11 Yellows

Yes, the referee gave 11 yellow cards, a few for dissent and non-fouls (pushing an opponent). I believe that the referee had no choice but to give the yellows because it was the only way to keep these reckless players under control.
