Mr. Fautrel had a very good evening. Nonetheless, there were a few occasions where he fell for some antics of Israeli players who fell too easily to the ground and got the foul call they didn`t deserve (examples: minutes 56` and 62`), and a strange blow against Georgia when they went out for their last assault in stoppage time. The assistant referees, Mr. Harchay and Mr. Stien faced no difficulties and can`t be criticised for any wrongdoing. All in all, it was an easy match to be handled, but, as I have explained before, this is no good cause for anyone to reduce the very good marks which the refereeing team deserve on the night.
