As a graduate from the Mejuto Gonzalez school of severe looks, Velasco takes it all up a notch. This guy can really look angry, and when he does, it seems as if he really is angry. It seems as if Velasco likes football and hates it when someone does something nasty.
The Hungarians took turns fouling Affelay. His former team mate Dszudszak must have instructed them about Affelay, a good player but not very sturdy. Velasco noticed it too and started showing yellow every time the Dutchman got a push. A tad overdone perhaps but I think he was right especially after Affelay's substitute Elia got kicked in the stomach. This showed the Hungarians weren't playing football, they were just trying to stop their opponent. Any football lover hates that. Velasco considers the way the teams play, and lets that influence his decisions. In this match it was okay to foul as long as it wasn't too often and as long as you played to win and showed a positive attitude.
Why was the guy wearing pajamas?
