Okay, it was actually a foul in the Czech box (Jankulovski on Kuranyi) and Germany should have been awarded a penalty, and Rosetti was wrong. But he was wrong in STYLE. And Kuranyi has stupid facial hair (thus: no style)l.

style

Rosetti is strict: don't protest his decisions, don't yell at him or at other players, stop whining, he will book you for it. His strictness though, keeps the players concentrated. It stops them from having personal vendettas, being angry for too long, looking for revenge or whatever else happens during a match in control by a weak referee. Players are often like little children and have to be treated as such.

style

Sure, apart from the penalty, Rosetti missed a few dirty tricks by Koller, but even in the event that he might not have seen something you still get the idea that he actually did see it but chose to ignore it, because it wasn't enough to stop the game.

germany

The German team is better than it has been in years. They are quick, strong, creative and the lack of a real star player makes them a better collective. The Czechs weren't bad either but need new and younger players.
