Tudor pulls out his yellow card before he runs to the player to show it. Most refs do the theatricals: running towards the scene, calling the player over and then the hand goes ever so slowly towards the pocket. Like a magician with his hat: pulling out the thing everyone expects: a yellow card (or a rabbit).
By already having pulled it out and holding it in his hand Tudor has made it clear to everyone there will be a yellow card. No theatre, nothing special, the booking is already a fact, irrevocable, nothing you can do about it. Cool.
I hope he'll set a trend.
But then: there were too many yellow cards, way too many.
Is Alexandru Dan Tudor the only FIFA ref with a beard? I can't think of another.
These two teams are the numbers one of their country?
