The appointment for this match was originally given to Mohsen Torky who is another Iranian elite referee but the Syrians argued and it got changed. 5-1? I guess it's not always the referee guys.

Al-Sadd's fifth goal barely passed the line and the referee's assistant got it absolutely right. Another good call by the officials.
