Only the two goalies and a Peruvian playing for Boca didn't join in and were spared the arrest the others had to go through. At first the police wanted to hold the 19 players for 30 days, but it was decided to set them free free.
The president of CONMEBOL a Peruvian, banned Boca from the competition.
