Spain 1 - 0 Colombia
friendly · 2011-02-09 Referee: Richard Trutz

Trutz, the future of Slovakia

Control

The match was not easy for Trutz to control. He showed 6 yellow cards, but it could have been at least 8. The players had to calm down themselves before someone saw the red card. The Spain players made some bad fouls at the beginning, and the Colombian players made bad fouls, but Trutz did not wanted to see some of them.

Calls

Trutz did not want to whistle for all the fouls. He got a little confused. His assistants made some mistakes but it was nothing big. He was a little for Spain with some of his decisions and sometimes he did not exactly know who to blame for a foul.

Spain

Spain is not playing well. The coach Del Bosque made mistakes, like playing with Xavi Alonso and Sergio Busquets when Colombia only attacked with one player. The two players who could made some difference were Iniesta and Silva.

Colombia

Colombia had a good match. They had even more opportunities to score than Spain. The only problem was that they could not score. Colombia gave some hope to the players and now they can dream about something better in the Copa America this year in Argentina
