Chile u20 2 - 3 Argentina u20
Copa Sudamericana u20 2011 final stage · 2011-02-03 Referee: Victor Carrillo

End

Carrillo

He doesn´t know how to control the players without whistling all the time, he does not let the players play. This time he made a terrible mistake, he allowed a non existent penalty to Argentina. All the players (the player from Argentina too), were surprised by his decision. The Chile coach said that he had to substitute a player because Carrillo told him he was going send him off.

Red Card

There were at least two red card occasions. But Carrillo was weak, and he didn´t show the cards he should. He doesn´t referee, he is more like a match administrator.

Perú

Carrillo had all the chances in Peru, he wasted them. The other referee from Perú, Georges Buckley, also had his chances and he too wasted them. Buckley had not been to the fitness test for the ClubWC, that´s why Carrillo got his chance. If these two are out, CONMEBOL will call Victor Rivera, the oldest referee from Peru to the Copa America.

Match

The match was controlled by Chile, 1-0 ahead before Carrillo mad his mistake. But the match was really good, it´s a shame that the referee interfered in the match without being neutral.
