When Farfan, the fast moving and strong PSV forward got a mean kick from a Bordeau player. Iturralde Gonzalez missed it (or thought it wasn't bad enough). Because it wasn't the first foul against Farfan that went unpunished, another "Dutch" player, Mendes, took reverge on a Frenchman. Mendes' foul was bad enough to licence a red card, but Itturalde Gonzalez showed him a yellow, as if to say he was sorry he missed the first foul.
Referee Itturalde Gonzalez seemed a bit chaotic at times and not quick enough with his decisions.
He recognized a dive though, but overall he made an insecure impression.
PSV, argueably the better team, lost due to a lack of concentration. Whatever the players may have said afterwards, there was no will to win. Not even a will to play.
