Even I think that Germany have better referees then Grafe in this match he was very good. He is very tool men so on pitch he dominates and his figure give him authority. This match needed authority referee because both teams , specially Spanish , always have something to say about referee decision. But Manuel probably knows that and for the first complain he gave yellow what calm down players. He awarded two penalty for Villarreal , both correctly and in first situation he gave yellow card for Dinamo goalkeeper. In this situation Spanish players claim red , but that was not obvious goal scoring opportunity. Dinamo players also claimed that penalty had not taken property ,but they don't read laws of the game which changed this year, so player can use trick until last step. In second penalty situation he sent off Dinamo player because he played with his hand in goal scoring opportunity. In rest of the match he let strong contacts and didn't whistle every contact. Also Villarreal players claim in one situation for indirect free kick because Dinamo player turned back a ball with knee, but also Spanish players don't know the rules because that is allowed.His assistant were very good they didn't miss any tight offside decision, but that is what I expect from one of best assistant Volker Wezel. Penguin referees were just two spectators what is much better then they carry important decision.

Dinamo missed two 100% chances in first fifteenth minutes , and when Villarreal scored first goal, they just dispirited from field. Villarreal show why they just few point from Barcelona and Real and Dinamo in last match need win for Spring in Europe.
