penalty on Vela?

minutes before the 1st goal of the match Kassai decided to give a YC to Vela (ARS) because of forcing a penalty. I am not 100% with Kassai on this but I give him the benefit of the doubt.

Kassai is leading the top 10 this year. He is a good ref, but not the best in the world. Had luck this year and some help with some nominations. But is a ref for a European final soon.
