A PITY
- One of the highlight of his career was the Euro 2000 final between France and Italy at the Feijenoord Stadion in Rotterdam. The appointment "brought me out in goose bumps," he was later quoted as saying.
- In September 2004 Frisk abandoned the Champions League group match AS Roma - Dynamo Kiev at half time because he got things thrown at his head while he was on his way to his dressing room. The Roma supporters were angry after he sent off Roma player Philippe Mexes.
- On 19 December 2005, Frisk was awarded FIFA's Presidential Award as "recognition for a career cut short following death threats against his family". He presided over 118 international games.
- Twice he took charge of a Barcelona - PSV match, twice the result was two goals each. Abelardo scored once in both matches.
- This is Frisk in 1993. A mug shot for the youth World Cup.
