Wilson Carlos dos Santos joined the course of the Football Federation of Rio de Janeiro (Ferj) in 1974.
He joined FIFA in 199o at the age of 44, due to his age he had to retire at the end of 1992.
He was also active ate the championships Carioca Brasileiro, Copa Libertadores and World Junior Championships, and qualifying matches for World Cup and other competitions. He still maintains the twelfth position in the ranking of Brazilian officials with 198 performances.
Retired, Wilson devoted himself to music, many claim that Wilson played the keyboard well.
Dos Santos died on January 31, 2005, at the age of 63, due to a massive heart attack.
