First League ref 1998-2006 and FIFA ref 2000-2001. Zoltan Szarka was a player (midfield) for Szombathelyi Haladis in the 1980s. Szarka was prone to injuries, he had to quit his FIFA career because of an injury to his Achilles tendon and later, and in 2006 he he gave up refereeing. He is stil a ref observer.
