Teodora Albon started her refereeing career while still playing for the women's team Clujana Cluj, where she was coached by her husband, Mirel Albon, a former assistant referee in the first division. Teodora Albon is the youngest female referee on the Romanian FIFA list and refereed the 2009 UEFA U-19 Women's European Championship Final.
