After his retirement as a referee, Sackie Kennedy (yes, that is his name) became known for his scams to make money out of Liberian players playing in Europe, by impersonating as the General Secretary of the Liberian FA. A job he actually had until 1988.
Cheating players of their fees is what Sackie Kennedy did. One deal went wrong when a Dutch team (RKC Waalwijk) sent the transfer money to the right team after they found out Sackie Kennedy did not work for the LFA anymore and had sent them false papers with the wrong team name on it.
Impersonating as LFA Secretary General, Kennedy sent a Portuguese team a letter stating falsely that George Miller, the player they wanted to buy, had scored 62 goals (more than George Weah ever did).
Sackie Kennedy currently resides in the USA, where he seems to be occupied with charitable organizations (!)
