This French referee from Bordeaux took charge of a match in the 1938 World Cup between Hungary and the Dutch East Indies. He also was in charge of two Coup de France finals, 1930 and 1933. Roger Conrie died in 1966.
- The Dutch East Indies, now Indonesia, had to play their qualifiers for the 1938 World Cup against Japan. They qualified because Japan withdrew and the one match the Dutch East Indies played against Hungary is their only ever appearance at the World Cup.
