After more than 20 years on the field as a player in minor leagues, Swiss banking manager Rene Rogalla decided to become a referee. A logical decision since his father was also a referee. He held a FIFA badge between 1998 and 2009.

Rogalla is not only active in the Swiss but also in the Austrian competition. His FIFA qualifications came in 1998 and since then he has been officiating UEFA Cup matches, qualifiers and youth matches and a cup final in Tunesia.
