From 1946 Keith Walker worked his way up via county and amateur leagues to the Football League in 1959. Walker came on the FIFA panel in 1970, he retired from refereeing in 1973. Keith Walker died in 1996.



USA

Keith Walker went to the US and became director of officials for the NASL in 1979. He was in charge of all game officials for the NASL. Later Walker became Secretary General of the United States Soccer Federation. Later again he returned to England where he took up a position as director at Rotherham United and finally Mansfield Town.
