He went to Sphinx cup in 2009 and refereed the final. Refereed New Zealand National U19 championship final in 2008, refereed Chatham cup final in 2009 (NZ FA cup equivalent) and he also referees in the O-league. He is a 4th official for the A-League and is the referee development officer for Wellington.

Jamie Cross was a goalkeeper and played for his national youth team at the 1997 FIFA U-17 Men's World Cup in Egypt. But when he realized he wasn't good enough to make it to a big team, he decided to change his career.
