"Proffesor" Nimo is a funny character who used to be a referee. He was on the FIFA panel for only two seasons 1967/69 and 1968/69, but he really made his name by appearing on TV and the radio.

tv

Nimo had is own radio program, and on TV he was a columnist in a program about football. He became famous by wearing increasingly weird glasses and by creating an original way of evaluating players', coaches' or referees' performances. His way of grading them was to deal out "white pearl" to the best, and the fearsome "black pearl" to the worst. every football night. Nimo had a funny way about him and people never really took him seriously, neither did he himself (see did you know section).
