Poland born Arkadiusz Prus played youth soccer for Stal Stalowa Wola and at age 18, joined the first team that played in the Polish second division. He was a FIFA referee from 2004 till the end of 2009 when he had to retire because of the age limit.
1985
In 1985 Alex Prus joined Igloopol Debica, another team that played in the second division. After one year with his new team he decided to come back
home and concentrate on finishing his Masters Degree in Physical Education, meanwhile starting to officiate soccer games.
1987
In 1987 he completed his schooling and he moved to the United States in 1990. In 1994 he joined the USSF as a State Referee. He was moving very fast through the ranks and in 1997 he started officiating Major League Soccer as an assistant referee.
1998
Since 1998 he is working as a referee for all professional leagues in the United States. In 2002, he received his American citizenship and two years
later was selected for the 2004 FIFA panel in USA.

Alex resides in Simpsonville, SC with his wife Ewa and his two kids Filip and Nicole. For nine years he is working for the No.1 Strikers and Goalkeepers Camp and he holds his A coaching license from USSF and National-Advance from the NSCAA.
