General assessment
I'm impressed how Mazic controled Neymar tonight (even without YC). Apsolutely he had control of the game. Big respect from players for him. We didn't saw any situation where players made big protest and crazy gestures (like in match England vs. Colombia) Full authority!Fitness on high level, as always.Crucial momments:45' Again, Ristic show us his 'hawk-eye'. Little offside from Brasil player (i think it was Neymar). His leg was in offside position. 53' Correct decision from AR2 Djurdjevic NO FLAG, after that there was situation in Belgium's box. Neymar fall down. Replay tell us it was diving. If we use UEFA criteria, indirect free kick and YC. But, on WC we saw other instructuions for that situations. So, correct decision here.55' Borderline situation. We saw situation from many angles, faster, slower and we have big dillema yet. Was it foul? Was the ball in play? For me, better solution is goal kick.91' Neymar jumped, trying to play the ball when Belgium's player touched him. Is that enough for penalty? Apsolutely not. Mazic share clear signal that he is best solution for the final.

FIFA WC 2018 1/4 finals:
Brazil - Belgium, 1 - 2. Kazan, Kazan, Russia, 2018-07-06

The game of Quarterfinals WC 2018, a CONMEBOL - UEFA clash involving Brazil and Belgium, has been always under the full control of Milorad Mazic. We have appreciated for sure the experience of the Serbian, who has also managed with charisma very 'difficult' players from both teams, by never losing control, and being always respected in his choice. He correctly rejected some penalty appeals by Brazilian side. Milovan Ristic and Dalibor Djurdjevic: 'Hawk-Eye's'! VAR- support and respect for Daniele Orsato. Well done!

56'
About penalty incident on Jesus. When first contact is made, ball is still in play, but that is not enough for penalty-kick. Foul is made when Kompany raises his foot but at that point ball has already crossed goal line (Law 9 and 12 LotG)!

Keith Hackett
KEITH HACKETT €@HACKETTREF "Brazil v Belgium The movement of the referee in this game is outstanding. He has put the first half to bed with a terrific display. PGMOL your referees have to move up a gear and get this level of movement and positioning. Michael Oliver stepped up last season and moved up a gear." "Well you referees out there. You have just witnessed a masterclass performance from Milorad Mazic (Serbia) If you have recorded the game just look at how his positioning and movement secured his quality decisions. His fitness and work rate superb 10/10."

John Paul Motta
"In my opinion, one of the best reffed games this @FIFAWorldCup. Congratulations to Milorad Mazic for an almost flawless job! It was a pleasure watching you today! @FIFAcom @ussoccer_ref"

Conclusion
Milorad Mazic had the most difficult match and presented the best performance in QF. Mazic can be very happy with his career, we are all happy for him and his team, and I congratulate them. THE GREATEST SERBIAN REF OF ALL TIME - who knows when we will have one to come close to Mazic.
