fix
August 25 2008, Hristo Ristoskov and three other former referees (Momchil Vraikov, Krassimir Yosifov and Dimitar Dimitrov) announced at a news conference that during their stint as a referees, pressure had been applied by Bulgarian Football Union officials to fix matches. According to the four they had been banned by Borislav Alexandrov, head of BFU, because of their refusal to do so. Ristokov even had proof, phone and video tapes of dealings between Alexandrov and Ivan Lekov, a former football referee and deputy head of the State Agency for Sports and Youth (SASY). Levkov was arrested September 2009.
