Born on July 19th 1967 in Tigre, Favale is also an accountant and a teacher, he´s married and has got two children. He started refereeing in 1987 and his first 1st division match was Argentinos Juniors-Newell´s Old Boys in October 2000. His father was a friend of important referees such as Juan Carlos Biscay and Francisco Lamolina. Favale had his international badge from 2004 until 2012.

More than 170
When he got to 1st division, Argentinian referee staff had important referees such as Horacio Elizondo, Daniel Giménez, Ángel Sánchez and Héctor Baldassi, so Favale couldn´t participate in big tournaments. However, he refereed in U-17 South-American tournament played in Ecuador in 2007. At the time of writing he has refereed more than 170 official matches.

International final
In 2008 he was nominated by Conmebol for refereeing Recopa Sudamericana Final (1st leg) between Boca Juniors and Arsenal from Argentina
