Adolfo Reginato was a FIFA referee between 1959 and 1968. Later he became the president of the Chilean Referee Association.

fix
(There's only one source for this but is seems to be pretty reliable.)
In 1986 a journalist called Guillermo Munoz doing a special report on referees stumbled on a group of refs making a lot of money gambling on fixed matches. During an interview he held with Rafael Hormazabal, the former referee told him about having been asked by Adolfo Reginato to fix some matches.
When the journalist started digging he found a match Colo Colo vs Nublense refereed by Vitor Ojeda. Days after the match it turned out that the betting ticket that won the biggest price came from a lottery agency owned by the same Ojeda. In those days being a referee and owning a gambling agency was legal. The name of the recipient of the winning bet was something called OREMA. Nobody then knew or cared what it meant but later it was found out the acronym stood for Ojeda, Reginato and Martinez. Ojeda and Martinez were referees at that time, Reginato was the president of the referee's association.
Even when those facts became known, nothing was done about it. Reginato died in 1989, Ojeda now owns a chain of tabaccoshops.
