2012-06-05Not much of a player (his own words) Gordon Kew let himself be convinced by his father-in-law to become a referee instead. He started as a linesman but soon took the place in the middle. Gordon Kew took charge of the 1974 FA cup final the year he got his FIFA badge. He retired in 1977.
