During his career Yamasaki moved from Peru to officiate matches in Mexico in 1968. He retired in 1975.

Yamasaki was a professional player for three years until 1956. A year later he was a referee and he has been in the highest league between 1958 and 1975 (from 1968 on he was in Mexico). In all he took charge of more than 1000 matches in Peru and Mexico.
