From 1962-1986 Roger acted as referee or linesman in 20 International matches including such foriegn teams as River Platte from Argentina, Dundee of Scotland, and VFR Stutgart of Germany. in 1968 Mr. Schott became a staff referee for the NASL under the direction of Eddie Pearson and officiated in every NASL final from 1968 through 1976. In 1978 he became member of ASL and nominated to the USSF FIFA panel of referees - the first EP &D referee to receive his FIFA badge. Roger acted in 22 full international matches including World Cup and Olympic Elimination Games as well as other top class international club matches. He ended his career in the NASL at the age of 50 having refereed 160 NASL matches.
