We all did not believe that a quarter-final-ref could get the final! I agree: He is the only one who is able to ref the final!

Based upon what teams and referees are left Eriksson must get one of the semis and i too don't think he's up for it.

My money's on Cakir in the final with Skomina as the 4th. Webb and Proenca are probably out when respective national team move through.

I used to watch all matches of a tournament (from 2000 on) but this time I just cant seem to get interested. Maybe they should have these things every 8 years.

The group stage almost finished, maybe some of you feel the urge to say a little more about the referees. I think the quality of refereeing is amazingly high, with only a few below standard. You guys don't seem to like Kuipers much. Eriksson also seem to be a lesser favorite.
