Some friends of mine had money on a bank in Iceland and my friend Ray once got a 350 Euro fine for speeding near Reykjavik, so I was a little biased, actually I was hoping I could make fun of this referee, but Kristinn Jakobsson turned out to be really good.
I think he has everything that makes a good referee: he is decisive, concentrated - just look at him watching and you'll know what I mean - and fair. Yes that was definitively a penalty and the first Udinese goal was not from a hands ball. The fact that the players hardly protested, says everything about the referee. Sure they didn't like it when one of them was sent off, but again Jakobsson was right.
Not a bad match. A pity these stadiums have to be so large and a pity the Spartak fans rather stay at home.
