Control: He controlled the game by the line he drew in the France/Sweden game
7
Calls: Mostly good. The crew has something to discuss in the post game meeting. AR called a much tighter game.

Neutrality:

Style: While I am not a Proenca fan, in this game I liked his style.

General assessment
I expected a Italy/Ireland style game and instead we say a friendly. Was it because the players decided to play nice, or is it that they knew what Proenca would do if they acted stupid. As a result we all watched a rather nice game.
Control: He ignored minor fouls, but on the right moment he pulled the first yellow and as a consequence he maintained control.
7
Calls: A few very tight offside calls, but all right. Most calls were right, but there were some minor errors. First yellow was right, second yellow was wrong.
7
Neutrality: I would say that the shirt pulling in the penalty area (De Rossi vs Terry) could have resulted in a penalty for England. Proenca choose to punish a minor (or invisible?) foul from Terry instead.
7
Style: Good contact with the players. Let the match flow as much as possible.

General assessment
Overall good performance. Let the game flow, but on the right moment pulled his first yellow. As a consequence he maintained control. Second yellow was wrong. The AR's were very good concerning the offside calls. They were indeed more strict in foul detection as Proenca was, which was a bad thing.
Control: Great Match flow, Italy almost playing without physical contact for almost over an hour and not much to control.
7
Calls: The assessment is right that there were different measures on the sidelines and in the centre of the field.
7
Neutrality: Italy got away with more things, but to be fair they also tried more and were a much more active team.
7
Style: Like all his other colleagues, he ignored things that could have got him into trouble (shirt-pulling or pushes in the box).

General assessment
Pedro Proenca was good, but he chose to turn a blind eye to difficult things (e.g. inside the box). The cards were okayish, and I was surprised that England were really waiting for the penalties given their record in this discipline. Italy deserved to win because England had done an unbritish thing in a way: to give up for most of extra time that you can win it.
Proenca was too lenient, but his assistants were too strict: everytime they waved their flags for something Pedro would have let go, but couldnt then. He and his team should evaluate this
Style: Bad placement, good contact with the players. Too lenient.

Stop being in the way, Pedro! He was even too lenient for my taste. All the player knew each other and the mood on the pitch was friendly. Except all the tugging in the shirts, which he left unnoticed.
