| Ajax | - | Real Madrid |
Craig Thomson was taken for a fool by the Madrid players. Both Alonso and Ramos stalled with the purpose of getting booked for the second time: better to get sent off now, when it doesn't matter anymore, there will be more important matches next year. Thomson either didn't mind helping them or had no idea what was going on.

And why was De Zeeuw booked? It was his team mate Enoh who had a little skirmish with Ronaldo. But De Zeeuw, realizing Enoh had already been booked before, jumped between them and took over the pushing. Thomson stood close by.
thus
It would be a good idea for the Scottish ref to think this match over. Does he want to take charge like this? I don't think the players took him seriously.
the usual
Not an off-side, two or three dives missed, that wasn't a free kick, I don't know about the penalty was it really a penalty? two or three dives acknowledged, many off-sides were right, advantage given, advantage missed, the usual stuff
4!
Ajax lost 4 to nil. The Ajax I know don't lose 4 games to nil. 4 goals! Since years none of the Ajax players seem to get any better, half of them want to play somewhere else. Madrid is way better than last year (and the year before). Probably this has everything to do with the coaches. Morinho is a very good one and Jol,.. well, I don't want to use bad words on this site.
