| Italy OT | - | Belgium OT |
Baldasi likes to keep his distance, on of the times he came closer to the ball a shot hit his back and the Italians almost scored from the counter attack. Baldassi was often not on camera, but he sems to have really good eyes and good assistants.
penalties
Two penalties and there could have been three, all for Italy, but three just wouldn't be right. This Italian team does not deserve three penalties, no matter how many times the players pointed to the sky and crossed their hearts, both God and Baldassi agreed on this.
great
Baldassi did great. He wasn't fooled, he seemed relaxed and even allowed the Italian goalie to grab a Belgian head. Once. The second time he did that he was sent off.
Then there was the Belgian first goal. I have no idea if it went in, but players and referees seem to agree immediately.
match
The Belgian coach did not substitute a forward for another defender when one was sent off, most coaches probably would have. The Italian coach kept all his defenders (at least fifteen of them) even when they were 3-2 behind. Apparently they did not really want to win.
