Another high result could be observed in Group D. Guatemala was defeated by Saudi Arabia with 6-0 so that one has to question that Guatemala deserves being under the best 24 under 20 nations..just to awake more interest in the host nation if you recognized the gaps on the tribunes one could invite bigger nations (or bigger names) like Italy, the Dutchmen or Germany..and perhaps the defenders as well (a suggestion of Carlos)

First of all I can say that he was much better than in his first match. All the more important calls were good and correct, the yellows were correct, too. His first assistant referee Graham Chambers had in the beginning some difficult or close offside situations which were - with one exception - correctly seen. His movement is slightly odd, I received this impression in CL where I saw him live, too. Very close to the action and to my mind rather too close to it. He used the positioning of CL and EL when AARs accompany him. So a bit weird but as the calls were good, it has no real effect.
