Not the most difficult of matches, with two teams not needing to play for anything really. Spain through already and Greece out of it. But still a very decent match and performance by Webb. An heroic appearance one might say, after Howard received death threats from some Polish idiots, that call themselves fans.
A rather boring affair to be honest. Both teams looked kind of rusty. Spain showed a bit more promise but then only a tad really. The Greeks still believed they could walk away with a win here and make their overall defeat fairly honorable. Webb did everything in his power to let them and the Spanish have a go at it, but, well, to no avail as they say.
There was a bit more life to the second half, mostly because the Greeks started to loose it, got tired, tried to play more aggressively nonetheless and didn't get away with it. Their play resulted in more space on the pitch and more chances for the Spanish. The Spanish needed loads of chances to get a goal in. Not very promising it would seem, but then again, this was not their best line up.
