I'm getting to like Christiano Ronaldo. He is a player who at least tries to lift a match to a higher level. This was a so so not very inspiring kind of match and Ronaldo, perhaps thinking a little trick will wake up the audience, fooled an Inter player. Enter Balotelli, a nobody, mediocrity in person, he ran towards Ronaldo, kicked him to the ground and warned him not to do that again. Referee Stark did nothing. Why not?

And then Rooney kicked Maicon, Again Stark did nothing. Why not?
The first bad foul happened in the 22nd minute, Stark warned the player, but did not book him, that is the German's style, but a nasty kick should be answered with a yellow card. And Balotelli should have ben sent off. if only because he was such a bad player and a bad loser.
