There was once that penalty that Arsenal didn't get because it was a Dutch player (Kuyt) who fouled and now it was almost half a Dutch team against Juventus. Vink was in for a difficult night.
Vink was in the middle of my screen for most of the time, Vink is a referee who wants to be seen and noticed. The Dutchman showed 6 yellow cards and was right with at least 5 of them and he did have a hard time in the first half indeed. He did well and things didn't get out of hand. Vink was tried three times, twice a Madrid player was pushed in the Juventus area and once it was a hands ball. Never enough to warrant a penalty.
Del Piero gave a master class in goal scoring. The art of Del Piero is simple: aim at the part of the goal where there is no goal keeper. It may sound too simple but most forwards actually aim at the goalie when they shoot.
Oh, and next year Real Madrid will have a new manager and at least ten new players and again they will not win the Champions League (which is quite a feat).
