A first class ticket to London, a nice hotel, a Champions League match with two major teams, this must be the life for a referee. Especially when the players are well behaved, even helping each other to get up again after a sparse fall.

Sure, Farina made his mistakes, showed one yellow card too often, missed out on a smack in the face by Eboue, but he has excellent assistants. One of them saw the ball being behind the line for a split second before Oboue scored in the 4th minute.

Two major teams? The Porto players just weren't up to it, they never even came close to the Arsenal goal. Nice new stadium by the way. Even though the English supporters can be dreadfull outside the stadium, inside apparently there is no need for an anti-tank mote to keep them from harrassing the players like in most other countries. And this time Arsenal did actually have one English player (and one English substitute for a few minutes).
