| Anderlecht | - | AC Milan |
To put it mildly: During the 2006 World Cup finals match between Italy and Australia, Luis Medina Cantalejo made a wrong decision. Giving the Italians a penalty for a dive will stay with him during the rest of his refereeing career and will be remembered everytime he officiates a match with an Italian team.
pfff
And it seemed Medina Cantalejo favored the Italians again. Anderlecht's forward Tchite couldn't move a foot without the Spaniard whistling, kicking Anderlecht players was okay with him, but Inzaghi got a free-kicks after a dive.
pfff
Let's not waste too much words on Medina Cantalejo or on the match: a match where Milan is the better team is always boring.
