A piece of cake for Frank de Bleeckere. But an UEFA Cup semi-final is not a Champions League semi-final and the Belgian has himself to blame for not taking part in the main event. Instead of taking charge of a match with Manchester or Chelsea, he was stuck with this lot. I propose a new rule: when 2 teams can't even score a single goal in 210 minutes, both leave the tournament.
Cousin
The only player who was abit of a problem for the Bleeckere is a 6 foot something simpleton called Cousin whose only talent seems to be hitting people. De Bleeckere finally sent him off, something he could have done earlier on.

I feel angry for having been stupid enough to spend a whole night watching this. My girlfriend asked me how these two teams ever managed to get this far. I'm afraid I don't know the answer.
If you are a Rangers fan, it must have been a great night after all, with your team playing this bad and still win the match. Everybody knew Vieri was going to miss his penalty.
